Common metal mold coating applications

Common hardware molds are: punching molds, bending molds, deep-drawing molds, hole-turning molds, shrinking molds, undulating molds, expanding molds, shaping molds, cold/hot forging molds, extrusion molds, extrusion molds, die-casting molds, forging molds and so on. Plastic molds can be generally divided into: injection molding molds, extrusion molds, gas-assisted molding molds and so on.

01 Punching Mold #

Punching dies, deep-drawing dies, bending dies, progressive dies, fine blanking dies, reconditioning dies, etc.

• Cold Stamping Die Coating: AMC (Rose Gold), ARS (Chrome Aluminum Based)

02 Plastic molds #

Make the molten plastic material under pressure to fill the cavity, and curing molding for products, parts of the mold. Including: injection molds, compression molds, pressure injection molds, extrusion molds, blow molds, thermoforming molds, foam molds and so on.

Among them, glue wood molds used to be mostly die-casting molds, and now there are more injection molds.

• Plastic mold coating: E-gun TiN, CrN; mirror mold, no droplets, anti-polymer sticking.
  Can meet the plastic mold surface of various texture requirements, such as mirror, bite flower and other types of etching, matte surface.
• Gumwood molds: TiN composite; different coating types for different compositions

03 Die casting molds #

Moulds that allow liquid metal to fill cavities quickly under pressure and cool and solidify to form parts. Tesla's integrated die casting mold will become a trend in automotive and other lightweight technology.

04 Forging molds #

So that the metal billet in the pressure role of forming for the billet, parts of the mold. pvd is mainly used in cold forging die, hot forging die so far, is still pvd is very difficult to set up involved in the field.

• Hot End Mold Coating: ARS, up to 1100°C high temperature resistance. Slows down heat transfer to the inside of the substrate

05 Powder Metallurgy Molds #

Make metal, non-metallic powder through the powder metallurgy process molding or shaping for blanks, parts of the mold. Including: compression molds, isostatic pressure molds, injection molds, extrusion molds, shaping molds and so on.

06 Stretch Mold #

Make the metal billet under the action of tension through the cross-hole extension deformation for the bar, wire, wire, profiles, parts and other products, molds. Including: steel drawing dies, tungsten carbide drawing dies, diamond drawing dies.

• Tensile mold coating: AMC (rose gold)

07 Extrusion Die #

Make the metal billet in the extrusion pressure under the action of plastic deformation, in order to form profiles or products, parts of the mold. Including: counter-extrusion mold, positive extrusion mold, positive and negative extrusion mold, radial extrusion mold, upsetting and extrusion composite mold.

08 Roller die #

Make metal or non-metallic plates, profiles, bars in the rotary pressure separation, forming, composite, correction, joining or transfer for products, parts of the roll mold. Including: roll punching mold, roll bending mold.

09 Glass Molds #

Moulds for molding glass materials into mouths and pieces. Including: bottle molds, vessel molds, thermoforming molds, drawing molds, pressing molds, blowing molds, centrifugal molds, calendering molds and so on.

10 Rubber molds #

Rubber, like rubber wood, is a complex and diverse material and working conditions, and is listed separately. Moulds that mold rubber raw materials into products and parts. Including: vulcanized rubber mold, thermoplastic rubber mold, liquid rubber mold, latex mold, compression mold, injection mold, extrusion mold, tire mold, tire molding drum mold, and so on.
