The material has the following core properties:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Ultra High Hardness<\/strong>: Mohs hardness of 9, after diamond (10), cubic boron nitride (9.8) and silicon carbide (9.5), room temperature microhardness of 2500~3300 kgf\/mm\u00b2, 600 \u2103 still maintain the hardness level of Hv800;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Excellent electrical conductivity<\/strong>: The resistivity is similar to that of metallic iron and platinum, and has a positive temperature coefficient characteristic and better conductivity than metallic titanium;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>chemical stability<\/strong>: Stable at room temperature in hydrochloric acid, dilute sulfuric acid, nitric acid and saturated oxalic acid, soluble only in hydrofluoric acid, slightly corrosive in concentrated sulfuric acid and dilute oxalic acid;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>High-temperature oxidation resistance<\/strong>: The block material has a maximum antioxidant temperature of 1100\u00b0C and maintains a hardness of 3.6 GPa and a flexural strength of 459 MPa at 1000\u00b0C.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Nasi TiB2 Coating<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The TiB2 coating Y prepared using HiPiMS resulted in low coating stress Y improved the chipping resistance of the tool;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The hardness of the coating is 39\u00b12GPaY which gives the coating good resistance to abrasive grain wear;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>TiB2 coatings have low surface activity Y and titanium alloys \u00bd or easy chemical affinity \u00be less prone to adhesive wear, which in turn improves tool life;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>4 Low surface roughness plating Y Increased chip removal performance Y Reduced friction Y
