When the weakly insulated areas of the film are subjected to an excessively high voltage resulting in breakdown, the metal coating at the point of breakdown can be melted and evaporated immediately under the action of an electric arc, forming a small metal-free zone. The two poles of the capacitor are re-insulated from each other and can still continue to work, thus greatly improving electrical reliability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image
