In the field of metallized film capacitors, Naxi has realized one-step double-sided deposition of Al\/Cu on polyester film with good uniformity of coating thickness and excellent adhesion, and therefore the volume after winding is much smaller than that of metal foil capacitors.
The advantage of metallized film capacitors is the \"self-healing\" property. When the weakly insulated areas of the film are subjected to an excessively high voltage resulting in breakdown, the metal coating at the point of breakdown can be melted and evaporated immediately under the action of an electric arc, forming a small metal-free zone. The two poles of the capacitor are re-insulated from each other and can still continue to work, thus greatly improving electrical reliability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
